Cranes Galore at Avia, Voya, & Square One District in Mississauga City Centre
The streets west of Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga are currently home to a cluster of cranes. This development boom in the heart of this western Greater Toronto Area city is exemplified by three concurrent side-by-side developments; Parkside Village’s Avia 1 & 2, Voya, and Phase One of the Square One District. The first two are designed by Turner Fleischer Architects for Amacon, with the third designed by Arcadis for Oxford Properties Group, The Daniels Corporation, and AIMCo.

Developer Oxford Properties intends to turn the parking lots that ring the popular Square One shopping centre in the heart of Mississauga into a vibrant, walkable community with thousands of housing units.
Oxford has unveiled a plan for a major new mixed-use development featuring 37 towers and 18,000 residential units with room for 35,000 people.
